Torrent description

Note that the most current version is the 6th edition, released in 2008, so this is really out of date.

---

The goal of the VDH remains the same as with the first two editions, namely to be a “…quality, single-volume, veterinary drug reference, particularly one that included information on not only those drugs approved for use in veterinary species, but also those non-approved

(“human”) drugs that are routinely used in veterinary practices today”.

The major changes to this work are the addition of a new appendix on small animal therapeutic diets, an additional 27+ drug monographs, an update of the older monographs, and a new separate index that lists drugs by their classification or major indication. This last change should

allow a quick comparison of potential therapeutic options available for a given condition/species. I hope the reader will find this new version a welcome addition to their reference armamentarium.
