One of the first commercial add-ons for Microsoft Train Simulator, ProTrain takes you to one of the most beautiful areas in Germany, the scenic Rhine Valley region. 


Within the deep valley of the Rhine, ride alongside the wide river displaying towns, cities, castles and the spectacular Koln cathedral. 


Riding in several new trains, you will ride past the cities of Cologne, Bonn, Mainz, Koblenz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt.





ProTrain is a complete add-on package, with over 400 km (250 miles) of track to run on, several complete trains (locomotives, cabs, cars) and a new set of activities (scenarios and objectives). 


From one set of scenery available in this title, you get two sets of track, since there are separate rail lines on each bank of the river. 


You have a choice of three locomotives, the Series E-103 (in two different paint schemes), an older traditional passenger train and the ICE-3, a modern, high-speed train set capable of 330 km/h (205 mph). 


Only passenger trains are included with this title, but the route has numerous sidings and industrial tracks, so with the addition of appropriate locomotives and cars, freight operations would be quite possible.

The ProTrain II: Saxony expansion pack for Microsoft's Train Simulator takes you to the Saxony region of Germany. 


Explore the beautiful landscape and ride the oldest "long track" in Europe. 


Enjoy authentic scenery painstakingly re-created to resemble Leipzig, Riesa, and Dresden as well as many small villages and stations along the way. 


This add-on pack includes hundreds of new miles of track through East Germany, new terrain and scenery objects, four new complete trains (locomotives, cabs, cars), and many more activities to be completed.

Pro Train 03 - (Stuttgart - Munchen).iso





From Stuttgart to Munich via Ulm


Experience what it means to conquer a gradient of 22,5% which has always been a challenge for man and machine. 


You can choose from different train types such as ICE1 and ICE2, or you can try your luck with the legendary E94, also known as the German crocodile, a freight train in double-traction.

Pro Train 04 - (Berlin - Hamburg).iso





As soon as in the 19th century, more precisely on March 6, 1844, began the history of the route Hamburg-Berlin (route length: 286 km). Two years later, on October 1846, the first leg of the route from BErlin over Wittenberge 


to Boitzenburg had been inaugurated. 


On December 15, 1846, drove all the way from Berlin to Hamburg for the first time - an important rairoad history. 


With the "Fliegender Hamburger" the new era of fast-track traffic began.


The front-headline of the newspaper "Berliner Lokal-Anzeiger" on Monday, December 18, 1932, was "Berlin - Hamburg in 144 minutes. Fast railcar is running the predicted 122 km/h."


But the "Fliegende Hamburger" could noch reach the stunning maximum speed of 231 km/h of the "Schienenzeppelin" on June 21, 1931 from Bergedorf, close to Hamburg, to Berlin-Spandau. Lateron, due to the separation of Germany, 


the driving time was extended to four hours. 


Only on may 29, 1997, could the driving time from the twenties of 2 hours and 15 minutes be realized again, after the ICE-route "Fliegender Hamburger" had been electrically modernized.

The railroad then was a so-called "Reichsbahn" (empire railroad) instead of the offical form of goverment of a republic. 


This add-on offers fun for everybody.
