Gomez Addams é o chefe da família. Sua adorável esposa Mortícia Addams é uma mulher de pele tão pálida quanto um cadáver, com cabelos longos e vestidos fúnebres. Gomez e Mortícia tem um casal de filhos: Wandinha é uma menina sádica e um tanto quanto soturna, que adora brincar com seu desmiolado irmão Feioso, submetendo-o a vários tipos de tortura, que e ele adora! Na mansão Addams ainda moram a vidente Vovó Addams, Tio Chico, Tropeço e a Mãozinha. O estúdio Hanna-Barbera produziu 16 episódios em 1973, na esteira do sucesso da série de TV da Família Addams que havia estreado em 1964. O desenho foi um grande sucesso, ganhando uma nova versão em 1992.
