Commodore 64 Training Tape with Jim Butterfield.

14 sessions on the basics of the C64.

Length: 1:55:53

Size: 352 x 240

Format: MPEG (VHS RiP)

For those of you who do not know, Jim Butterfield was one of the preeminent authors and programmers for the 6502 CPU going all the way back to the MOS Technologies KIM-1 kit computer.

Jim had been battling cancer for several months when he passed away on June 29, 2007 at 1:30 am. According to his family there will be a memorial service scheduled in a couple of months, but there will not be a public funeral.

Jim is best know for his seminal work, Machine Language For the Commodore 64, 128 and Other Commodore Computers. That book is easily one of the best programming books ever written and has been read by thousands of people who now have fruitful careers in IT because of their tinkering of 8-bit computers. In addition to writing books, Jim also wrote for several computer magazines in the 70\'s, 80\'s and 90\'s.

We miss you Jim!

Regards, MM^CPI
