NOTES:


The DVD source for the Miami Vice US Dvd releases is varying; some dvds have interlaced frames whereas most (thankfully) have progressive frames. Therefore, when suitable, I encoded the dvds for progressive source at 24fps. Only when entire dvd is obviously interlaced, I ran with appropriate deinterlace filter at 30fps.


You could notice that there could be sequences that suffer from some combing effects, but they are usually in the beginning or the end of an episode.


Overall, I believe this distribution provides near-dvd quality at merely 800kbits/s, which should be satisfactory for everyone.
